Both of the articles I picked for my paper are from the same source. They are from a database called "Facts On File Issues and Controversies". The first article is titled "Gay Rights". This is a credible source because it was found on our schools library page. It was written recently so we know that the information in still applicable and accurate. The article has a lot of good information on the history of gay rights and the gays rights movement. It also shows the view point from a supporter of the movement and someone against the movement. The second article is called "Defense of Marriage Act". Because it is from the same source as the other one it is a credible source for the same reasons. This article will help me in the writing of my paper because it talks about what President Obama is doing in regards to this issue. It shows how the same-sex marriage is on it's way to becoming legal, and has already been declared legal, in different states in the United States. Both of the articles have useful information that will provide me with a lot of research for the writing of my paper.
